Stomach of the Rumbling

Woke up at 6:40 AM. Feet were very stiff as usual. Body kind of stiff, too. Got to work at 7:45 AM.

Breakfast: 20 oz. Strawberry Melon Tropicana drink, half of large chocolate chocolate chip muffin

Snack: 10:45 AM M&M's from vending machine for absolutely no reason. Was even feeling kind of full. The reason I left my desk at this time was to check out the healthy recipes from the healthy snack contest we recently had at work. I was not impressed with the healthfulness of any of the recipes. There were hardly any fruits or vegetables in any of them. The recipe that won was for vegan zucchini muffins. The other recipes consisted of things like pretzels, popcorn, coconut cake and feta and olives. I took a recipe for "Beany Bites" which is mainly chickpeas mashed into a little patties with Indian spices. It was seriously the healthiest recipe there.

Lunch: quinoa salad and half a tuna sandwich. The quinoa salad was quinoa cooked in chicken broth, red, yellow and orange sweet peppers, green onions and black beans. I don't really like peppers or raw onion for that matter. I'm trying to learn to like red bell peppers. I did NOT visit the vending machine after lunch. This is very unusual for me. My mouth is watering right now because I know there are chips in a drawer here at work. But I am resisting.

(Editing the rest of this post Monday, June 28 morning)

I did not resist when I got home. I had a single serving bag of Doritos when I got home from work. We weren't sure where we wanted to go to eat, or if we should go to the gym. Suddenly, it began to storm. Unknowlingly to me, the husband had gone outside to do something in the garage. (probably smoke). I didn't know it at the time. It started getting really windy and hailing. I ran all over the house calling for him. Finally he came inside. I was really mad. haha

Dinner: 6 inch chicken breast sub from Subway. I can' t remember what else I ate. Oh yeah, probably another very large muffin.
